The GE IS200VCRCH1B is a Discrete Input/Output board in the Mark VI Speedtronic system, functioning as a single-slot alternative to the VCCC board. It handles contact inputs and relay outputs, integrating with TBCI for 48 dry contacts and TRLYH1B relay boards with 12 magnetic relays.
Wired to the VME rack via molded plugs, it supports high-speed scanning for critical turbine variables and a 1 ms-resolution SOE recorder to track contact events. Compatible with both simplex and TMR systems, it uses optical isolators and 4 ms filters to suppress noise, ensuring reliable signal processing. It communicates via the VME backplane with the VCMI, enabling voting in TMR setups for fault tolerance.
